The C90A is a completely custom-made power unit, designed, handcrafted, and mass-produced in Italy in our own industrial complex. We have full control over the production chain, and we are able to guarantee the quality of every single element: from the SKF Energy Efficient Bearings, the treated high-strength steels, the 48 rare earth class magnetic compartment, the inertial platform, to the meticulously selected electronic components and the micro-connectors.
Overall, the C90A is an extremely compact 2,9 Kg power unit that can deliver truly high performances, in terms of power and efficiency in each of its 4 assist mode, plus the BOOST mode. The great efficiency of the C90A is mainly given by the material and technology used, but the electronics in the motor itself have great importance to this purpose. Indeed, the C90A inertial platform measures the level of thrust on the pedals, detects the context of use with an inclinometer and measures the temperature of the motor to deliver the right power according to real needs and the level of assistance selected. Thanks to this important feature the Askoll ULTRA C90A allows every rider to live at best, and for the longest time, each and every trail.
And finally, the C90A smart design allowed us to place the power unit’s body linkages in the same position as the popular Shimano EP8 & Step E 8000, in order to minimise the impact of our technology’s implementation on a production level for brands interested in our technology.

To ensure the best possible synergy in the Ebike-system, we decided to develop and integrate the most suitable battery on our own.
That’s why our Askoll In-Tube Fixed Battery is 100% Made in Italy with quality components with modern craftsmanship. We designed our battery for severe use. We choose an Extruded Aluminium body, anti-vibration waterproof connectors and a reduced size.
But it wasn’t enough. We want always to be able to offer a choice, a degree of personalisation. That’s why we decide to develop our battery in two sizes that can meet all the needs of the Emtb audience: 630 Wh for 3,30 Kg; and 500 Wh for 2,85 Kg. Moreover, the Askoll In-Tube Fixed Battery was designed with the same size as the Shimano 630 Wh battery for it to be already optimised in terms of compatibility.
This effort represents our commitment to delivering a complete Askoll ULTRA experience to our future riders and the proof of our ability to transform ALL our heritage and experience in something new and better.

The Sigma EOX Technology chosen for integrating with our proprietary Power Unit & Battery combo it’s the final touch to our Integrated Ebike System.
Starting from the controller, with ergonomic design, ambient light sensor and Bluetooth Smart integration, the EOX® REMOTE 500 is a unique product in its class. Thanks to the six-colour LED indicator, the most important information such as support level, battery status and error message are displayed clearly and directly to the rider. The EOX® REMOTE 500 is connected to the e-bike system via Can-Bus cable and has a Bluetooth Smart interface to communicate with the EOX® app, which displays and saves the covered values.
The app can be used to specify which riding data is displayed on the EOX® VIEW products or to share trips anytime, anywhere on numerous channels and social media. Moreover, the recorded trips can be uploaded to the free SIGMA CLOUD.
These amazing pieces of tech, combined with one of the five suitable EOX® VIEW Display, a series of Cycle-computers equipped with a long-life battery, and secure data connection guaranteed by the high-performance ANT+ and Bluetooth interface, make the whole e-bike control system extremely user-friendly.
Finally, one of the most important aspects of this integration is that it allows for the use of pre-owned smart accessories such as cardio-band and/or of already-in-use third parties applications, such as Strava or Komoot.

Through the production of innovative sustainable vehicles and drive units for urban and non-urban mobility, guaranteeing important energy savings, high performance and a high level of safety. To date, Askoll boasts over 800 patents registered in the field of electric motors and has never stopped going further, thanks to its own Research & Innovation Center.
In 1978 Elio Marioni founded Askoll and started producing his first pumps for aquarium use.
In 1986 Askoll applied synchronous technology to electrical motor revolutionising the world of home appliances. Indeed, as of today, almost every washing machine, dishwasher or dryer in the world uses the technology invented by Askoll.
In 1997 the internationalisation process begins with the opening of Askoll Brazil. Since then, Askoll factories around the world have grown to 11, with 1,500 employees and it operates in Italy, Brazil, USA, Slovakia, Romania and China.
Askoll brings synchronous technology engines to the world of heating and starts its journey in the segment reaching a new milestone in 2008 when Askoll acquired Emerson Appliance Motor Europe, the European subsidiary of the US company Emerson Electric, specialised in the same field.
In 2014 Askoll Group decides to use its know-how to enter the sustainable mobility sector, presenting a range of electric city bikes and e-scooters. Thus Askoll EVA was born.
In 2017 the first Askoll EVA partnerships are defined with some of the leading European scooter sharing operators, who choose Askoll e-scooters for their reliability and resistance. Then, In 2018 Askoll EVA is listed on the AIM Italia segment of the Milan Stock Exchange.
In 2020 with over 15,000 scooters produced, Askoll EVA is the second-largest manufacturer of electric mopeds and motorcycles in Europe.
After years of research, Askoll EVA launches C90A, the first drive unit of the Askoll Ultra brand, dedicated to the world of highly performing Emtb.
